Our Livestock


Our start was with raising cattle and finishing steers for friends that desired locally grown high-quality beef. Though Will's earliest memories are of growing up taking care of cattle with his parents and little brother, he knew there was more potential which is why he began selling steers for beef. The Talladega National Forrest as a backdrop, our cattle operation has reached about 100 head of cattle and continues to grow. We retain top-quality heifers to return to our herd and employ cutting edge techniques to continually improve the quality of our cattle and ultimately the beef that will be on your family's plates.


The quality of lamb raised at Jordan Livestock is incredible, even though we do not have a large flock of sheep. The Jordan Livestock flock at 4J Farm is comprised of largely Hampshire and Suffolk sheep. We have found that these two breeds, when paired, produce exceptional, highly palatable lamb.

We hope to satisfy your lamb cravings at Jordan Livestock which is why we offer lamb in whole and half lamb quantities as well as in retail cut portions. 


Raising hogs was the first venture outside of cattle that Will Jordan pursued. Using profits from selling live cattle, Will began purchasing young pigs to grow and finish for customers looking for great locally grown pork. Yorkshire and Hampshire hogs constitute what is largely used for producing pork at Jordan Livestock.


At Jordan Livestock, we strive to have what you are looking for. If you are interested in purchasing a whole or half hog, or retail cuts of meat please inquire. Live hogs and pigs can be made available by request.
